The Formulation
THE FORMULATION
The same standard. A different application.
Cosmetic formulations.
Every Talurā product is anhydrous, emulsifier-free, and built entirely from active ingredients. No water phase. No synthetic stabilizers. No fillers. Every gram of the formula is working. The base is tallow, the lipid substrate most structurally analogous to the skin’s own sebum, and Active Manuka Honey at UMF 15+ / MGO 514+ is used across the line at clinically meaningful concentrations, not as a label claim.
In the cosmetic line, this standard is held against a different problem: dry, depleted, sensitised, or aging skin where the natural lipid barrier has thinned or lost integrity. The principles do not change. The actives selected, and the way they are combined, do.
NO EMULSIFIERS · NO WATER · NO SYNTHETICS
THREE PRINCIPLES, EXPRESSED IN THIS CONTEXT
Tallow as the Base
Tallow shares the fatty acid composition of human sebum. When applied to depleted or aging skin, it integrates with the existing lipid barrier rather than sitting on top as a foreign film. The result is replenishment, not occlusion.
Manuka Honey at Clinical Concentration
Present in every cosmetic formulation at 10 percent. High enough to deliver meaningful antimicrobial activity on the skin surface, not just enough to support a label claim. In a lipid base, it stays in contact with the skin longer than it would in an aqueous formulation.
Active by Mass
What is listed on the label is what does the work. Cold-pressed jojoba, CO₂-extracted botanicals, clinically dosed Frankincense Sacra and Ambrette Seed in the signature formulations. No filler oils, no water dilution, no inactive volume.
WHAT THE COSMETIC FORMULATION DOES NOT INCLUDE
No water. No emulsifiers. No synthetic preservatives. No synthetic fragrance. No fillers. No silicones. No petroleum derivatives. No alcohols. No sulfates. No parabens. No phenoxyethanol.
THE COSMETIC REASONING
